With such a wide range of email programs to choose (Outlook 2007, Hotmail, Gmail, Yahoo etc.) - do you know if they render your campaigns correctly ? To add to that list, what about all the range of smartphones and the iPad? Well, to test this question, you could have setup a myriad of email accounts and servers to check this for yourself. You could go to the expense of buying a bundle of smartphones and an iPad too. Alternatively, you can now click a button in Zendmail and all the testing will be done for you. How? Well, we have just launched a BETA version Inbox Preview tool that will be available to all clients shortly!



We will offer them in 10, 25, 50 and 100 unit bundles. So if you need to preview 10 newsletters, you simply buy a bundle of 10, if you want to preview 100, get a bundle of 100 and so on – it all depends on what you want ; how often you send and how many tests you want to run.

The rates will be once off – meaning that you only buy the amount of previews that you need, then, if you want to test more newsletters at a later date, you just buy the additional bundle from within your account ; 10, 25, 50 or 100. Check out these improvements to your Zendmail Interface!

Tomorrow, if you visit your Zendmail Dashboard ( User Interface ) you'll see that it's a bit more user-friendly! Yes, without any change to the functionality of the application, we’ve changed the design and menu structure and on the way, added a few useful features.

So, what’s going to change?
Well, for a start, the new Tips section; when selected, this displays tips relating to the particular section of your account that you're navigating and another useful tool is our new account drop-down information panel.



When you click on the dropdown menu you’ll see a display of how many credits are left in your account and when they expire. If you're getting low, you can simply click on the 'Buy More' button and in seconds your send credits are topped-up.

Streamline your campaigns by using the A/B split testing feature!

You've sent out 2 newsletters. One was in March and the other was in April. They weren’t very different, so why did March’s newsletter yield more newsletter opens? Was it the content, the time it was sent or just the subject line?  The only thing you could do in the past was to take a guess and hope that the next send also results in a favourable outcome - or you could make use of our latest feature - A/B split testing.....

A/B split testing lets you experiment with different subject lines or content, so you know what will attract more opens and drive more clicks. In short, A/B testing chooses the most popular outcome, lets you know who the  “winner” is and ultimately takes the gamble out of your email marketing campaign.
You simply select whether you want to do a subject or content test. Then select the percentage of your mailing list to receive your test. You decide how the winner will be determined, either via the most "opens" or the most "clicks".  Then launch your test immediately or schedule it for a future date. 

We will then automatically send the “winning” newsletter to the remainder of your list. A/B split testing isn’t something you should do just once. It should be an integral part of your marketing efforts, so you can pick up on subscriber trends over time and in turn generate more powerful email marketing campaigns.

The moment we have all been waiting for. Zendmail are pleased to announce the launch of our bespoke Drag & Drop editor. Our D&D editor wizard allows you to create a newsletter quickly and professionally with an option to use some cool styles and layouts to assemble a mailing in minutes. So, with a Zendmail account, you can continue to use our Editor 2008 editor with the bonus of using the Drag & Drop function also!

At the moment, we are including the D&D editor to all our current client accounts. However, very soon, we will be offering the editor as an ‘add on’ - so if you are not already a subscriber to our robust email sending engine, then now is the time to get on the bandwagon!

Another item hot off the press from the team in the Zendell lab is the TriggerMail feature! The idea behind the TriggerMail was to provide an advanced feature incorporating our auto-responder service; offering our customers more flexibility with their automatic replies than was previously available in simple auto-responder.

So, why call it TriggerMail? Simple. It requires a trigger, or a prompt, for your email to be dispatched. These triggers can be fired off from link clicks, newsletter opens or even dates and times that you have set.  It even runs on autopilot for when you are on holiday or unable to send the mailings/follow-ups manually!

We’ve laid out a whole selection of categories for these automated TriggerMails. Included are newsletter opens, link clicks, scheduled sends, anniversary triggers, unsubscribe and subscribe confirmations.

You can even use the scheduled send option to send out your monthly invoices, use the anniversary triggers for birthday wishes and send subscribers a "Thank you" when they have subscribed to a mailing list or a farewell note if they unsubscribe.

The use of this new feature even extends to RSVPs for a big event. We'll automatically update your datasets with "Yes" or "No" rsvps, as long as you have taken the few minutes it requires to set up your dataset options.
